Mario Aguirre

Mario Aguirre has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the President and CEO of Vicinity Credit Union since October 2015. Prior to this role, Mario held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Oak Trust Credit Union from January 2009 to October 2015. Additional experience includes serving as Technical Accounting Manager at Alloya Corporate FCU from December 2007 to December 2008, Vice President and Controller at Suburban Bank and Trust Company from January 2001 to December 2007, and Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst at Northern Trust from September 1998 to January 2001. Mario holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from Aurora University.
