Karim Samaha

Internal Audit Director at United Development Company (UDC)

Karim Samaha began their work experience in 2007 as an Accountant at Consolidated Contractors Company, where they managed accounts receivables and payables, reconciled bank accounts, and handled petty cash funds. In 2010, they took on a part-time role as an Accounts Coordinator at the International Chamber of Commerce, where they handled financial transactions and performed data entries and updates on the "Dolphin" accounting system. In 2011, they joined United Development Company as the Head of Audit Services, where they provided independent assurance and consulting activities, aligned internal audit activities with operational goals, and managed multiple audit assignments. Karim also represented the company as an Audit Committee member in Qatar Cool and as a coordinator for the Audit Committee of Middle East Dredging Company.

Karim Samaha holds an MBA in Finance, which they obtained from Notre Dame University between the years 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, Karim completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Banking and Finance, also from Notre Dame University. In December 2015, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
