Patrick Whitmer

Patrick Whitmer has a strong background in risk management and internal audit. Patrick currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer at United Fidelity Bank. Prior to this, they worked at Independence Bank of Kentucky as the Risk Management Officer and Chief Audit Executive, responsible for internal audit, vendor management, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program. Patrick also has experience in consulting, having worked as a Director at Clark Schaefer Consulting and as a Senior Consultant at both Clark Schaefer Consulting and Deloitte & Touche. Patrick also gained experience in internal audit roles at First Financial Bank, Kentucky Housing Corporation, and Crowe Horwath LLP. Patrick began their career as an Audit Associate at PwC.

Patrick Whitmer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Transylvania University from 1988 to 1992. Patrick then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Kentucky from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their educational qualifications, Patrick Whitmer obtained the certification of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2002.
