Artie Bortz is an experienced project manager with a strong background in electrical transmission, construction management, and nuclear energy projects. Currently serving as a Project Manager - Control Account Manager at United Global Technologies since February 2023, Artie is involved in the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory's National Spherical Torus Experiment Upgrade for fusion research. Previous roles include Project Manager positions at Progressive GE/Eversource and Northline Utilities, as well as significant experience at Entergy, overseeing major capital improvements at the Indian Point nuclear facility. Artie has also held leadership roles in project management and maintenance at the New York Power Authority and has experience as a start-up and test engineer at Burns & Roe. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Construction Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University. Artie is a long-standing member of the Project Management Institute, Hudson Valley Chapter since 2008, and is recognized as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
