Arie Pelta

Arie Pelta has a wide range of experience in the medical field, specializing in colon and rectal surgery. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Colon & Rectal Surgeon at Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates, where they taught colorectal fellows. Arie then worked as a Colon & Rectal Surgeon at Atlanta Medical Center from 2009 to 2013, where they trained surgical residents and medical students. Arie's experience also includes working as a Colon & Rectal Surgeon at Kaplan Medical Center in Israel from 2013 to 2018, and as a Colon & Rectal Surgeon at Assia from 2014 to 2020. In 2013, Arie joined the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons as a Colon & Rectal surgeon. Arie has also held positions as a Surgeon in the Israel Defense Forces, a Medical Director at United Hatzalah of Israel, and is currently working as a Surgeon at Laniado Hospital since 2018.

Arie Pelta's education history begins in 1992 when they attended Yeshiva University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General in 1996. Following this, they enrolled at New York Medical College from 1997 to 2001, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. After medical school, they completed a Residency in General Surgery at North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System from 2001 to 2006. Subsequently, Arie pursued a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Clinic from 2006 to 2007.
