Akintunde Gafar Olaide

Akintunde, Gafar Olaide holds both an HND in Accountancy from the Polytechnic Ibadan, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Bayero University, Kano and currently running his Masters Programme in Finance from Nasarawa State University, Nasarawa State.

He is a member of some notable and recognized professional bodies in Nigeria like The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (N.I.M.N) among others.

He is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with several years of experience spanning from different field areas like Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Investigation, Financial Analysis and Management, Internal Controlling and Compliance, Marketing Management and so on.

He has attended several seminars, workshops and conferences in the past years on different topics like: Accountancy and Audit Practice, Public Sector Accounting, Annual Accountants Conferences. He is a Certified Master Trainer and a Facilitator on Access to Finance and Financial Management Skills, a PSP-One programme of USAID in conjunction with United Healthcare International, Managed Care on Capitation, Family Planning and Wellness etc.

He worked at Mario-Jose Enterprises Challawa in Kano State as an Accountant before joining United Healthcare International Limited in 2006 as the Kano Branch Manager and rose to the position of Head, Internal Audit and Control Department in 2010. He is currently the Acting Head of Finance and Accounts Department. He is married with Children.
