David Slates is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in transportation and warehousing management. Currently serving as Logistics Manager NAFTA at United Initiators Inc. since October 2018, David has successfully improved SAP processes and enhanced warehouse networks across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Prior to this role, David held various positions at GE Lighting and General Electric C&I, including Transportation Manager and Transportation Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed corporate-level transportation planning and execution, negotiations with carrier partners, and managing cross docking operations. David's career began in supervisory roles at Overnite and PIE Nationwide, complemented by a solid educational foundation from The Ohio State University.
