Lena Staiger has a strong background in research and development, particularly in the field of organic peroxides. Lena currently holds the position of Head of Global Analytics at United Initiators, where they oversee various projects related to innovation and growth, batch and continuous production processes optimization, and plant trials. Prior to their current role, Lena worked as the Manager of Global Process Development and Technology for Organic Peroxides at United Initiators, where they were responsible for supervising the R&D laboratory, managing national and international innovation projects, and conducting patent research. Lena also has experience as a PhD candidate at the Technische Universität München, where they focused on nanometallurgy and the development of synthesis strategies for bimetallic nanoalloys. Additionally, Lena has gained practical experience through internships at Clariant, BASF, and WACKER.
Lena Staiger obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich in 2015. Lena then pursued their Master of Science in Chemistry at the same university from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, Lena also had the opportunity to do a Master's degree program in Chemistry at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
