Mitchell Cox

Mitchell Cox is a propulsion systems design engineer at United Launch Alliance (ULA), responsible for designing and managing components within rocket propulsion systems since June 2021. Concurrently, Mitchell serves as both the head and assistant coach of the Colorado School of Mines Club Ice Hockey Team, competing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 3. Prior experience includes roles as a mechanical/energy engineering intern at McKinstry, a project management intern at Aldridge Electric, and a mechanical/field engineer intern at Robert Ober & Associates, LLC. Mitchell began a career in retail as a sales associate at Vans, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, earned in 2021.
