Claire Handyside

Claire Handyside is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across various educational and publishing organizations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at United Learning since April 2024 and as Vice Chair of Governors at Thomas Reade Primary School since July 2023, Claire has previously held significant roles at River Learning Trust as HR Business Partner and Human Resources Director from February 2016 to April 2024, and at Oxford University Press as HR Business Partner from September 2011 to January 2016. Earlier experience includes positions as HR Advisor at John Wiley and Sons and Personnel Officer at the University of Oxford. Claire's educational background includes a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc in Management Science from Swansea University.
