Chad Blackburn

Chad Blackburn has extensive experience in finance and insurance. Currently serving as an Accountant at the Illinois State Treasurer since September 2021, Chad manages agricultural loan processing and collateral handling. Additionally, Chad has been a Life Insurance Agent at United Life Insurance Company since January 2013, focusing on customer needs for life insurance and annuity products. Previously, Chad worked as a Compensation Analyst at Horace Mann, overseeing commissions for agents, and as a Portfolio Specialist at Small Business Growth Corporation. Early in the career, Chad was a Personal Banker at Marine Bank and an IHSA baseball official until retirement in March 2022. Chad holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Management from Lincoln College, attained between 1999 and 2001.
