Tim Roff has extensive work experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Tim is currently the New Energies Manager at United Living Group, where they are responsible for shaping and developing infrastructure services related to the energy transition. Tim is also a Technical Lead and Bid Manager at ULIS, where they lead proposals for new business in the energy, gas, and water sectors.

Before that, Tim was the Director and Principal Consultant at TEJR Consulting Ltd, providing technical and business consultancy services to clients in the utility infrastructure and chemical industries. Tim also held various leadership roles at the Health and Safety Executive and the Health and Safety Laboratory, where they focused on risk management, process safety, and strategic consultancy.

Tim's career also includes roles at National Grid, where they managed R&D engineering and software consultancy, and at Scott Wilson (now part of AECOM), where they worked as a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer. Tim started their career as an industrial trainee at John Mowlem Construction PLC.

Outside of their professional work, Tim is actively involved in the engineering community as the Chairman of the Midlands Section of IGEM (Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers), serving as a trustee and member of the council. Overall, Tim Roff has a diverse background in engineering, risk management, and consultancy, with a particular focus on the energy, gas, and water sectors.

Tim Roff CEng MICE FIGEM has a diverse education history. In 1994, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering & German from Loughborough University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Geology from the University of Leeds, which they obtained in 1995.

In 2006, Tim further enhanced their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loughborough Business School, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations.

Additionally, in June 2006, Tim obtained a certification in Project Management (PRINCE2 Practitioner) from PRINCE2.com, which demonstrates their expertise in this field.
