Tessa Demarest

Tessa Demarest is an experienced project coordinator currently working at UMFS since July 2023. Previously, Tessa served as a tutor at Axiom Educators from January 2021 to May 2023 and worked as an analyst in the Strategic Planning Research Unit for the Virginia Department of Corrections from August 2021 to May 2022. Tessa began their professional career as a contract recruiter at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia in mid-2019 and was a public relations intern at Keep Virginia Beautiful earlier that same year. Tessa holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Virginia Commonwealth University, earned from August 2021 to May 2023, and two bachelor's degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, both also from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed in 2021.
