Gary began their career at Parente, Randolph, Orlando, Carey and Associates, a public accounting firm, where they worked as a Staff Accountant before progressing to the position of Manager. During their time there, they provided accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to clients in various industries, including senior living service providers, hospitals, manufacturers, construction, broadcasting, and small not-for-profit agencies.

Following their time at the public accounting firm, Gary became the CEO/CFO of Nittany Healthcare Services, where they were responsible for the financial and operational management of two skilled nursing facilities. Gary'semployment with this organization ended after the facilities were sold.

Gary's most recent role was as Sr. Vice President at United Methodist Homes, where they were employed by UMH Management Services Corp. This entity provided financial, operational, information technology, human resource, marketing/sales, and other business services to various senior living campuses. These campuses were affiliated with United Methodist Homes and were located in Broome County, NY, Pittston, PA, and Tunkhannock, PA.
