Marjorie Rivera-Torres

Marjorie Rivera-Torres is an experienced legal professional and educator, currently serving as the Director of Legal Services and Immigration Attorney at UMOS, Inc., as well as the Director of the Unemployment Insurance Navigator Program since August 2022. Rivera-Torres has been an Attorney at Law at MRT Law Offices, P.S.C. since March 2012, focusing on high-quality legal services and customer commitment. Prior experience includes roles as Teaching Team Lead at Navigator Academy of Leadership, Independent Consultant for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Professional Coach and Consultant at Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico, where support was provided to the Department of Education. Rivera-Torres also has a background in higher education as a Professor at the University of Phoenix and has held leadership positions in educational program development. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Interamerican University, a Master's in Education from Turabo University, and Bachelor's degrees in Fine Arts and Education from the University of Puerto Rico.
