Thushara Jayasekera

Thushara Jayasekera is the current Executive Director at United Motors Lanka PLC. Prior to this, they were the Assistant General Manager of Finance at Oreint Finance PLC from December 2009 to May 2011. Before that, they were the Group Finance Manager at Kelsey Developments PLC/ First Capital Holdings PLC/Kotmale Holdings PLC from November 2001 to December 2009.

From April 2000 to September 2000, Thushara worked as the Assistant Technical Manager at Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standard Monitoring Board. From November 1999 to March 2000, they were an accountant at Finance Guarantee Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd. And from May 1998 to October 1999, they were a Senior Audit Manager at H T Peiris & Company, Chartered Accountants.

Thushara began their career as an Audit Trainee at H T Peiris & Company, Chartered Accountants from September 1993 to December 1997.

Thushara Jayasekera has a FCA, FCMA, ACMA(UK), and CGMA from the Royal College-Colombo in Accounting and Finance.
