Bill Ha Tran

Bill Ha Tran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in programme management and geospatial information, currently serving as a Programme Management Officer at the United Nations ESCAP since September 2021. Previously, Bill held the position of Geospatial Information Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa from January 2019 to August 2021. Bill's earlier roles include Vice Director of Investment & Development at Ben Thanh TSC (May 2015 - November 2018), IT Manager at Benthanh Group (May 2010 - May 2015), and IT Senior Executive at Prudential Vietnam (August 2006 - August 2008). Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from RMIT University Vietnam (2008 - 2009) and a Bachelor of Computer and Information Science from Auckland University of Technology (2003 - 2006). Bill completed secondary education at Le Hong Phong High School For The Gifted in HCMC, Vietnam (1998 - 2001).
