Deanna Morris

Deanna Morris is an experienced Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations ESCAP, specializing in innovative financing mechanisms, particularly in green finance, and working on climate finance policies. With a robust background in program management and women's economic empowerment, Deanna previously managed the Innovative Financing workstream of ESCAP's US$ 10 million Catalyzing Women's Entrepreneurship programme and served as the Deputy Programme Manager for UNCDF's US$ 33 million SHIFT programme. Deanna has extensive project management experience through various roles at United Nations ESCAP, Aide et Action, and other organizations, focusing on public-private partnerships, capacity building for SMEs, and inclusive finance initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Sustainable International Development and has completed additional executive education programs in innovation strategy and FinTech.
