Simiao You

Simiao You is a Senior Engagement Manager at the United Nations Global Compact, where responsibilities include leading a team to enhance corporate engagement in Asia and Oceania, collaborating with 16 Country Offices to develop regional strategies, and managing relations with over 3,500 organizations to help them achieve sustainability goals. Prior experience includes roles such as Engagement Manager and Participant Engagement Coordinator at the UN Global Compact, Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University’s Earth Institute, Sustainability Consultant for the NYC Mayor's Office, and an Outreach and Research Intern at UNDP. Simiao holds a Master's degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Sustainable Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the University of Washington.
