Alexia Ghyoot is an experienced professional in human rights and responsible business conduct, currently serving as the Coordinator of the Responsible Business Conduct in Latin America and the Caribbean Project at the United Nations Human Rights since April 2019. Previously, Alexia held roles including Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights from October 2014 to February 2017, and Human Rights, Gender and Child Protection Expert for the European Union Police Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo from January 2014 to October 2014. Additional experience includes various positions with organizations such as Peace Brigades International and the Belgian Mission before the United Nations in New York. Alexia possesses multiple academic qualifications, including a Master of Laws in International Relations and Development from the University of Kent and a postgraduate master in International Law from Université libre de Bruxelles.
