Francesco Notti has extensive experience in human rights and governance, currently serving at the United Nations Human Rights since August 2006 in various roles including Secretary for the UPR Voluntary Fund for Financial and Technical Assistance, Drafter/Coordinator for the Universal Periodic Review, and Deputy Representative for the Regional Office for Central America. Previous positions include Human Rights Officer for the Regional Offices in South East Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining the United Nations, Francesco Notti worked at UNDP from January 2001 to July 2005 as a Governance and Human Rights Officer and Programme Officer. Francesco Notti holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex and a Laurea cum laude in Giurisprudenza from Università degli Studi di Messina.
