Todd Pitman

Todd Pitman is an experienced media professional currently serving as Media Adviser at the UN Human Rights Office since October 2022. Previously, Todd worked as Regional Public Information Officer for UN Human Rights in Asia from April 2019 to October 2022. A notable career at The Associated Press spanned from 2001 to 2019, where Todd held roles including Asia Pacific & Global Enterprise Correspondent, Southeast Asia Bureau Chief, and West Africa Bureau Chief, among others. Todd was also a Fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University from August 2015 to July 2016 and held correspondent positions for Reuters in Central and Burundi Africa from 1997 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Georgia and completion of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard.
