Mateusz Buczek

Mateusz Buczek currently serves as the Deputy Manager of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund at the United Nations OCHA, a position held since March 2015, where responsibilities have included developing the concept of the CERF Results Report and managing various humanitarian affairs related to the Central Emergency Response Fund. With previous roles as a Humanitarian Affairs Officer, Mateusz Buczek has extensively contributed to humanitarian response planning, policy development, and performance monitoring across multiple countries and regions, including South-East Asia and the occupied Palestinian territories. Prior experience includes significant roles at the World Food Programme and UNHCR, emphasizing project management and emergency response, complemented by academic qualifications in Management and Arts from AGH University of Krakow and the University of Melbourne.
