Verity Kowal

Verity Kowal is an experienced communications professional specializing in crisis communications and emergency response. Currently serving as an Emergency Response Specialist at the United Nations Population Fund since March 2024, Verity's previous roles include Field Communications Coordinator at Médecins Sans Frontières, where leadership was provided for communications in South Sudan, and Director of Strategy and Communications at Community Accessability. With a strong background in consultancy at Embode, Verity has also contributed to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society and managed national marketing communications at headspace.
