Jonathan Sandy is currently the Chief/Director at the United Nations, a position they have held since 2010. They previously served as a Senior Security Sector Reform Advisor at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces from 2008 to 2010, and as the Head of Governance, Justice and Rule of Law Portfolio for UNDP in Sierra Leone from 2005 to 2006. They also worked as the Regional Programme Manager/CTA for UNDP/ECOWAS from 2006 to 2008. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management and a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Economics, in addition to training in Military Security Policy and Strategy.
