Stefan Egger

Stefan Egger is a seasoned Information Designer and researcher with extensive experience in the field of public information and road signage. Notable roles include serving as a Road Signs Expert for the United Nations and the Austrian Standards Committee, as well as providing expertise at FSV - Forschungsgesellschaft Straße Schiene Verkehr. Additionally, Stefan has made significant contributions as an Owner at S Egger Informationsdesign and as a member of various professional committees, including serving as Vice Chair of Committee 133 "Public Information." With a long-standing association with Technische Universität Wien as a Guest Lecturer since 2019 and involvement in the IIID International Institute for Information Design, Stefan demonstrates a committed engagement in educating and advancing design research. Currently, Stefan holds a position in the Steering Group at thesymbolgroup and continues to work with visys.pro as an expert on visual sign systems.
