David Richards

David Richards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk and safety management within the food industry. Currently serving as the Risk and Safety Manager at UNFI since February 2022, David previously held the position of Environment, Health and Safety Manager at C&S Wholesale Grocers from July 1988 to March 2022. In these roles, responsibilities included overseeing injury claims investigations, managing OSHA recordable incidents, conducting safety training, and executing risk management assessments. Additionally, as a Senior Security Manager, David was in charge of food safety compliance, physical security audits, high-level investigations, and crisis management.
