Jay Essary

Jay Essary has a strong background in IT and leadership roles. Jay began their career as an IT Consulting Manager at Ernst & Young in 1988. Jay then moved to Lowe's Home Improvement, where they held various positions, including IT VP Solutions Delivery and IT VP Retail Solutions. Following their time at Lowe's, Essary served as an IT Consultant at The North Highland Company before joining Belk as the VP of IT Store, POS, Payment, and Supply Chain Solutions. Jay'sresponsibilities at Belk included leading teams in implementing various solutions and overseeing the overhaul of in-store technology. Essary later served as the Chief Information Officer at LIDS Sports Group before joining United Natural Foods as the Vice President of IT.

From 1980 to 1984, Jay Essary studied at North Carolina State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
