Susan Akin

Susan Akin has extensive work experience in various roles within the retail industry. Susan currently serves as the Director of Quality Assurance/Information Technology at UNFI since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Walmart as a Senior Business Process Manager from August 2020 to March 2022. Susan also held the position of Director Supplier Quality/3PL at Sam's Club from August 2018 to February 2021. Before joining Sam's Club, Susan worked at Walmart for a significant period, starting as a Regional Director Quality Control for the West Division from July 2005 to August 2018. Susan began their career at Walmart Distribution Center as a Warehouse Logistics Manager from October 1994 to September 2000.

Susan Akin has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Metallurgy from Contra Costa College.
