Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson

Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson has been a director at UNCF since July 2018. Dorothy was previously the president of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority from July 2002 to July 2018. During their time as president, they launched the Launching New Dimensions of Service program, which generated more than a million hours of service per year. Dorothy also oversaw the largest Corporate Office renovation project in the organization's history.

Buckhanan Wilson is a native of South Carolina and attended Benedict College. Dorothy has served on the board of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and is a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Presidents (NPHC).

Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson has an MBA from Clark Atlanta University and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Benedict College. Dorothy also has a B.S. in Business/Economics from Benedict College.
