Caitlin Allen

Caitlin Allen is currently a Nurse Practitioner at Neighborhood Health. Caitlin previously worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Lovelace Health System from April 2019 to January 2021. There, they provided medical care for pediatric patients from birth to 19 years old in a suburban/urban clinic where they saw 20-25 patients per day. Caitlin also has experience with telehealth video visits utilizing the thin WebEx platform.

Before that, Caitlin worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at CVS MinuteClinic from October 2018 to March 2019. There, they provided medical care for patients ranging from 2 years old to 100 years old. In the clinic, they provided independent care ranging from wellness exams, acute and chronic illness management, sports clearance, as well as pharmacological management of acute and chronic illnesses (including hypertension). Caitlin also mentored nurse practitioner students and newly hired providers.

Caitlin has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since August 2017. Caitlin previously worked at Carolina Ear and Hearing.

Caitlin Allen has a Master of Science Nursing (MSN) from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Caitlin also has certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) in FNP-BC, American Heart Association in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and PNCB in Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care.
