Hunter Leggett

Hunter Leggett is an accomplished zoological specialist with extensive experience in animal care, training, and public engagement within leading zoological and aquaria institutions. Currently serving as a SeaWorld Senior 1 Zoological Specialist at United Parks & Resorts, Hunter previously held the role of Senior Wildlife Behavior Specialist at San Diego Zoo Safari Park, where responsibilities included training a variety of taxa and conducting public presentations. Prior to these positions, Hunter advanced through various roles at SeaWorld, contributing to animal husbandry, conditioning programs, and guest experiences. With a foundational background as a Senior Dog Trainer at Petco, Hunter enhances animal training methodologies and professional presentations, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eckerd College.
