Loretta (Lori) Wagner, MTS, has extensive experience as an Evangelist, Author, and Teacher with United Pentecostal Church International since November 2006. Wagner founded Affirming Faith in July 2006, focusing on writing and publishing books that uphold Christian and traditional values for audiences across all age groups. Additional experiences include serving as Michigan State Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer Task Force from June 2011 to November 2013, an intern with the Oakland County Republican Party in 2012, and Office Manager at Hurdling Handicaps from 2006 to 2008. Wagner was also the owner of WordWorks from 1990 to 1997. Currently, Wagner is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies at Amridge University while holding a Master of Theological Studies from Urshan Graduate School of Theology, and completing studies at Purpose Institute.

The UPCI has been among the fastest-growing church organizations since it was formed in 1945 by the merger of the Pentecostal Church Incorporated and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ. From 521 churches in 1945, the UPCI has grown to more than 42,000 churches (including preaching points), 41,000 credentialed ministers, and 5.3 million constituents worldwide. The UPCI currently has a presence in 197 of the world's 210 nations, as well as 35 territories. The international fellowship consists of national organizations that are united as the Global Council of the UPCI, which is chaired by the general superintendent of the UPCI.
