Jonathan Thompson

Jonathan "Joffy" Thompson joined the UPG team back in 2011, but he's literally grown up in the glass industry. His father works for a major float manufacturer and has called on Mike and Joyce since before Joffy was born. So, while Joff had been exposed to the flat glass industry both at home as well as through various courses covering glass fundamentals, his first experience at UPG was much more "hands-on". From the start, ownership knew his skill set would center on customer engagement. However, in an effort to gain a better understanding of their products and processes, Joffy first started in production, where he learned to do everything from cutting glass to running a tempering line. He was then able to transfer this knowledge and experience into his present role as Sales Manager for their PA location.
