Valerie Smits

Valerie Smits is a Financial Assistant at United Prairie since April 2021. Prior to this, Valerie worked as a Mathematics Tutor in their own business from November 2013 to April 2021, specializing in high school mathematics up to Pre-calc honors level. Valerie also has experience as a high school math teacher at Trinity Academy, a substitute teacher at Glenbard District 87 and School District 88, and as a staff member at ExcelEdge, Inc. Valerie holds a MAT in Education from National Louis University and a B.A in Applied Mathematics from William Paterson University.
