Lauren Van Ham serves as the Climate Action Coordinator for the United Religions Initiative since 2020 and has extensive experience in interfaith spiritual guidance and consulting through laurenvanham.com. With a diverse background, Lauren held roles such as Dean of Interfaith Studies at The Chaplaincy Institute, Director of Consulting Services at Saatchi & Saatchi S, and Staff Chaplain at St. Mary's Medical Center. Additionally, Lauren contributes as Chair of the Steering Committee for Fair Trade Berkeley. Educational credentials include a M.A. in Humanities and Leadership from Naropa University, ordination from The Chaplaincy Institute, and a BFA in Music Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University.

We implement our mission through local and global initiatives that build the capacity of our member groups and organizations to engage in community action such as conflict resolution and reconciliation, environmental sustainability, education, women’s and youth programs, and advocacy for human rights.
