William Silva

William Silva has a diverse work history spanning several industries. William is currently the CEO of RaVolt, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they were the CEO and founder of United Renewable Energy, LLC, a prominent solar and energy storage developer and contractor, from January 2008 onwards.

Before their ventures in renewable energy, Silva owned and managed Andrew Properties, LLC from August 2002 to September 2015. Additionally, they served as the Coordinator of Solar Training at Lanier Technical College's North Fulton Solar Training Center from July 2009 to January 2013.

In terms of their earlier career, Silva held the position of Director of Sales at Memex from March 2002 to January 2008. William also worked as a Principal Systems Engineer at Rhythms NetConnections from September 1998 to August 2001.

Furthermore, Silva has academic experience as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, where they developed curriculum and taught system engineering methodologies from January 1998 to March 2001.

Their previous roles include senior systems engineer at SAIC from October 1995 to October 1998, systems engineer at Lockheed Martin from January 1993 to September 1995, and systems engineer at General Electric Aerospace from January 1992 to April 1995.

William Silva's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering, which they obtained from George Mason University from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University at Buffalo from 1988 to 1992. Their high school education was completed at Binghamton High School, although specific dates and degrees obtained were not provided.

In addition to their formal education, William Silva obtained a certification as a NABCEP Board Certified PV Installation Professional in March 2009. This certification was granted by the NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
