Marine Chamoux has a diverse work experience in the robotics field. Marine is currently working at United Robotics Group as an HRI software engineering manager and product owner, leading a team of six android engineers. Marine'srole involves defining the vision of the IHM for their robots and delivering attractive and efficient human-robot interfaces.
Prior to this, Marine worked at SoftBank Robotics Europe, starting as a robotics software engineer in 2014. Marine was responsible for being the scrum master and main developer for ALMood, the emotion recognition module on Pepper. Marine also played a crucial role in designing and developing ALRobotMood, the module responsible for the robot's emotion synthesis. Marine was also involved in promoting Pepper's emotion recognition capabilities through press interviews, documentary interviews, and conference presentations. Marine later became the Robotics Software Manager at the same company.
Before their tenure at SoftBank Robotics Europe, Marine worked at Eikeo as an intern engineer in R&D for computer vision in 2013, and as an intern engineer in robotics and vision at UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNANDEZ DE ELCHE in 2012.
Marine Chamoux attended Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2010 to 2013, but did not receive a degree or study a specific field during this time. Additionally, from 2010 to 2013, Marine also attended Polytech Paris-UPMC and obtained an Engineer's degree in Robotics. Prior to this, from 2007 to 2009, Marine attended ENCPB - Lycée Pierre-Gilles de Gennes, where they completed Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles (CPGE) and studied Mathematics.
