Mark M Smith

Mark M Smith, BScF, has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in safety training and supervision, working as a General Foreman, H2S Safety Supervisor, and Emergency Rescue Technician at United Safety since November 2005. With a diverse skill set, Mark has contributed to upstream, midstream, and downstream safety operations, primarily in western Canada, while also gaining international experience in China and the Middle East on various projects. Prior to this, Mark held the position of CEO and Registered Professional Forester at Chinook Forest Ventures Ltd., offering consulting services in forestry, and served as a Field Forester at Forest Consulting and as a Forest Tech with the Government of Alberta. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick.
