Sarabjeet Singh Parmar

Sarabjeet Singh Parmar is a distinguished fellow currently serving at both the Council for Strategic and Defense Research and the United Service Institution of India. With a robust career in the Indian Navy from July 1987 to June 2023, Sarabjeet held various significant positions, including Captain and Director, and contributed to strategic and doctrinal developments as well as maritime security issues. Prior experience includes serving as a senior fellow and executive director at the National Maritime Foundation from April 2018 to June 2023 and as a research fellow on deputation at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses from September 2010 to July 2014. Sarabjeet holds two MSc degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies, with a focus on Maritime Security, from the University of Madras.
