Daniel Heimann, MBA, has over three decades of experience in operations and management roles. Daniel began their career at Waste Management, where they held various positions, including Plant Manager, Market Area District Manager, and Director/Vice President of Operations. Daniel successfully transformed underperforming facilities, exceeded operating margin and revenue projections, and implemented operational performance management standards.
Daniel then joined O-I, a glass manufacturing company, as Director of Cullet, where they developed and executed a sustainability strategy to replace raw materials with recycled glass. Daniel later became the Continuous Improvement Manager and led the implementation of Lean manufacturing methods, resulting in increased employee participation, reduced waste, and increased profitability. Daniel eventually became the Enterprise Performance Improvement Leader, spearheading the transformation of underperforming facilities through continuous improvement and employee engagement efforts.
In 2020, Heimann joined Essentra as the Director of Operations, overseeing a pharmaceutical label and leaflet business. Daniel transformed the plant culture by engaging and empowering employees, reorganizing team tasks and processes, and achieving strategic goals.
Most recently, Heimann joined United Site Services as the Vice President of Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's operational activities.
Throughout their career, Heimann has demonstrated excellence in driving operational improvement, building effective teams, and delivering results in people, safety, productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
Daniel Heimann holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Operations Management from Saint Xavier University. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics.
