Anson Smith is an experienced educator and soccer coach with a career spanning several positions in both high school education and soccer organizations. Since September 2004, Anson has served as a Teacher of Social Studies at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. In addition to this role, Anson has been a Membership Council Regional Representative for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America since July 2015, focusing on the concerns of the Boys High School Membership. As a Sectional Representative for the Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey from November 2008, Anson assists with All-section and All-State selections. Anson also has a background in coaching, having held the position of Technical Director for the Greater Flemington Soccer Club from January 2008 to January 2018, overseeing coaching education and technical advancement programs. Anson’s educational credentials include an Ed.S in Education from Seton Hall University (2018-2020), a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Boston College (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Wheaton College (1994-1998).
