Steve Freeman is an experienced professional in soccer coaching and education, currently serving as the Assistant Coach for Men's NCAA Division I Soccer at the University at Albany since February 2025. Freeman holds numerous leadership roles, including Partner at Forward First Futbol Consultants LLC and Principal at Momentum Sports Services, providing consulting and management services to various football organizations. As the Managing Director of New Gen Africa LLC, President/CEO of Black Watch Premier, Founder and Director of Programming at Black Watch Premier, and Academy Director at BWP Football Academy, Freeman has significantly contributed to the development of soccer at multiple levels. Additionally, Freeman has served as Head Boys' Varsity Coach at Christian Brothers Academy and held various teaching positions at Guilderland Central School District. Educational credentials include a Master of Education and a Bachelor's Degree from The College of Saint Rose.
