Ashton Martin

Ashton Martin is a Health Policy Analyst at the United South and Eastern Tribes, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of thirty-three federally recognized Tribal Nations. Previous experience includes serving as the Rodney B. Lewis Fellow in American Indian Law and Policy at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Chief of Staff at Daymaker. Ashton held several positions within the UNC Student Government Executive Branch, including Student Body President and Academic Affairs Committee Chair, and participated as a Strategy and Fundraising Intern at Feedback Labs and as an Investigations Intern at the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender. Ashton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020.
