Brice Fortinberry

Staff Epidemiologist at United South and Eastern Tribes

Brice Fortinberry is an accomplished professional in public health and agricultural education, currently serving as a Staff Epidemiologist at United South and Eastern Tribes since February 2023. Previously, Brice worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, contributing to the PROMISE Initiative by conducting research on mental health, farm stress, and substance abuse, as well as training professionals in mental health first aid. Brice held roles as a Communication Intern and Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, and as Program Director of Foundation Relations for the Mississippi FFA Foundation, where efforts focused on fundraising support and curriculum development. As the Mississippi FFA State President, Brice advocated for agricultural education and established the first Native American FFA chapter in Mississippi. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education, Leadership, and Communications, both from Mississippi State University.
