Danny Rohde is an experienced professional in the chess community, currently serving as the Scholastic Coordinator for the New York State Chess Association and as a member of various committees within US Chess, including the Scholastic Council and the Development Committee, which focus on enhancing national scholastic chess initiatives. In addition to managing events for the Charity Chess Championship and directing tournaments at the Chess Center of New York, Danny has been a teacher at Little House of Chess, instructing tournament-level students in Manhattan. A skilled poker player since 2011, Danny also has a background in sports production, having worked for organizations such as CBS Sports and WOLV-TV during their time at the University of Michigan, where a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies was obtained.
