John Mauger

John Mauger is the Principal Owner of Preparedness, Operations, Resiliency, and Training Solutions (PORTS) LLC since May 2024, where solutions are developed to mitigate risks and enhance client success in volatile markets. Previously, from July 2020 to May 2024, John served as the Commander of the First Coast Guard District, overseeing all operations and personnel across an eight-state region. Other notable roles include being the Executive Champion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Coast Guard, and serving as the Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy and Capability. Prior to these positions, John was the Director of Exercises and Training at United States Cyber Command and held various leadership roles within the U.S. Coast Guard, including Commanding Officer of the Marine Safety Center. John's educational background includes multiple master's degrees and certificates from prestigious institutions such as the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
