Edward Somers

Edward Somers has an extensive background in governmental affairs, serving as Council Member/ Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Vienna, VA Government since July 2020. Edward currently holds the title of Chief of Staff at the U.S. Conference of Mayors, managing legislative policy development, major speeches, and coordination efforts with various organizations. Edward previously served in roles such as Assistant Executive Director and Associate City Representative, demonstrating their expertise in legislative efforts and government relations. Edward obtained a BS in Political Science from American University.
