Irene Caramuta is a seasoned professional in interpretation and translation with extensive experience in the legal field. Currently serving as an Official Court Interpreter for the United States Courts since January 2012, Irene interprets at all court proceedings and translates documents between English and Spanish. Additionally, Irene fulfills the role of Seminar Level Interpreter for the U.S. Department of State. Previous positions include Master Spanish Interpreter at Union County Superior Court and contract interpreter for Nevada and New Jersey State Courts. Irene began her career as a Project Manager and Editor at the Translation Company of New York and has also worked in educational translation at the Camden Board of Education. Irene holds a Master’s degree in Translation and a Master’s degree in Music from Binghamton University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Eastman School of Music, complemented by extensive continuing education in diplomatic and conference interpreting.
