John Mears

John Mears is a seasoned network engineer with extensive experience in network design, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer for the US Courts since March 2012, Mears previously held a similar position at ECS Federal, where services were provided to the TSA’s network, impacting over 700 worldwide locations. Mears has also served as Network Operations Manager and Senior Security Engineer at Northrop Grumman IT, overseeing technical support for the Department of Justice, and has managed teams while ensuring system security and administration. A strong foundation in technical support was established during earlier roles at BAE Systems and Logicon. Mears holds a B.S. in Physics from Virginia Tech and has further education from George Mason University.
